Victorian 10kt-12kt Engagement Ring, size 7.5, 2.66 gr, 5mm stone. The stone is either crystal or quartz. It is not diamond. This has been tested multiple times and tests as 10kt and lightly as 14kt - assuming it is possibly 12kt. It has no wear marks typical of filled pieces - no magnetic properties either. The stone does not test as diamond - it has wear on the facets typical of glass/crystal/quartz. It is held in a blossom type setting with 8 prongs. It is appx. 9mm across the top of the finger and tapers down to 2.5mm at the back of the finger. It is signed with a flower and arrow pictograph - there were other Victorian era rings in the estate pieces at this auction. It is in good condition with the stone showing wear. See photos. Lot. Loc.
